What the heck is wrong with these hens?!?!

Hey, just guessing here - and sadly, I can't see the pictures clearly on my cell phone. My own (singular) example is anecdote, not data. It would not surprise me to be wrong, merely throwing out a possibility for consideration. Thanks for the feedback.

/edit I got the third picture to load - those bare spots are much "higher up" on the bird's back than what I saw on my CX - which were bare spots covered by the wing when it was held close - they were on her sides, not her top. I'm revising my opinion to favor the over-enthusiastic roo theory after further consideration.

Here’s the bald spot, also found a bunch of mites on them.😫. Sometimes I wish everything could just work out for once, but nooooo, it’s just one thing after another.
