This is Clara..she is a very curious girl..here she was looking up at an airplane. She has a nice temperament and is pretty consistent with laying every other day. She isn't one that will jump in your lap but doesn't fuss when you hold her though. I got her from the feed store along with a Gold Laced Wyandotte and a Buff Orpington.

The dark egg on the right is from my Cuckoo Marans. Phoebe has been laying a couple months now and the blue one next to it is from Amelia who just started laying a week ago. ( time to take a basket pic with the new eggs)
from L-R is from my Black Sex-Link, EE and Blue Wheaten Ameracauna

I have 12 girls, all different breeds. They all are friendly girls.
Edited because I can't spell. lol
I am so jelous of you right now!!! My Cuckoo Marans and Auracana chicks are coming in February. I can't wait for those sky blue and chocolate brown eggs. I am curious- where did your Marans and Ameracaunas come from? Yes please, take a new basket picture! I love those
This is Amelia my Blue Wheaten Ameracauna. I got her from a BYC gal that needed to sell her pullets on the AZ thread . She hatched eggs from Wayne Meredith Ameracaunas.I should have taken another as they were all very nice looking.
This is Phoebe. I got her from the local feed store. I bought two as well as my nephew bought two and Phoebe is the only one out of the four that looks half Barred Rock and half Cuckoo Marans and lays the darkest eggs. She also was the only one whose legs turned yellow as she grew older. Unfortunately Phoebe's sister Lucy passed away in August at 5 months old.
