What the? Pasty Butt!!

My chicks are about a week old, baby buffs and they are all getting pasty butt.

Now I really dont mind cleaning their...ummm...back sides for them but it is all the time. I clean them in the morning, by night it is clumped back on them. I clean them at night, by morning I've got 20 fuzzy, poopy butt babies again.

I have never had any trouble with my BR or EE's. Does this just happen in Orps? I love my babies but come on

I am taking more poop off of them then my infant and 2 twin 2yr olds!!!

Ideas?? Anyone??

Bad luck is my guess. I had buffs and not one ever got pasty butt. The only one's of mine that got it were the EE's.....

Try giving them a tiny bit of yogurt - it may help. I know someone else knows what to put in their water.....
