I was wondering this because I would let them out of their coop at 6:30am and I was wondering if their eggs would be their at that time?

Nooo... unless you have some very industrious hens. Mine lay between noon and 2pm, though I understand that most lay before noon, though usually after 8. Most hens are not early risers, and the amount of light they get will affect when/ how much they lay. Mine are just lazy, I guess

I read in a book that they lay an hour later each day than the previous egg until they roost, then they skip a day and start all over again early on the next day. I haven't had any eggs yet--that will be a long time from now, but I can't wait.

yep. that's what they told me in poultry class. Mine do whatever they want, whenever they want.
some days I get 12 eggs from 23 hens, and other days I get up to18 eggs from 23 hens..but never 23 eggs -ever. someone is holding out. that 25 hour deal isn't working for me.

That theory fits with my hens. They lay at different times on different days. Often I hear the egg songs starting around 10:00 and I collect eggs between noon and 1:30. When I check on them at 5:00 pm, I usually find several more eggs. Some days they are mostly late and sometimes they are mostly early. Once a month or so I get an egg from every hen. And if an egg gets broken from the shared nest box, I find fragments or sticky hay that indicate it got eaten before I got there.
