What time of day do the lay?

We have 7 hens and while one hasn't started yet (a Polish who is 8 months) the rest (3 girls from last year and 3 others from this year) all seem to lay between 9 and early to mid afternoon. 2 have laid this morning so far. We've got 2 EE's that just got over molting and they haven't started laying again yet but before the molt it was always mid morning.

I for the last several weeks have had a dozen by noon... by 2 p.m. they go outside to "play" and have only had to keep a couple in to finish their business....

Most of my hens get their job done by noon... but I have one or two that will lay between noon and roost time.

I have two that lay at sun up, two that lay before 9, one by noon, one very late evening around 5 or 6 and one whenever she feels like it. The others don't think they need to lay yet.

my 3 red sexlinks lay just after dawn, my 2 polish in the afternoon about 2ish and the other 4 mutt chickens lay right around 11 am I collect eggs in the am when I get up and right after dark

My chickens always lay, without fail, before 6am. None of us, even my mother who's up with the lark every day, has seem any of them laying for quite a few months now, and the eggs are always there, cold, when we go to collect them in the morning.
