What time of day do your hens lay?

Mine lay in the afternoon and sometimes in the morning what about you?

anywhere from 7 am to like 5 or 6 in the afternoon... so figure that out lol

Usually around noon. I go out after the human lunch and offer scraps (if I have them) and go check food and water levels. There's usually an egg when I'm doing my chicken chores.

out of the 14 eggs laid today, 11 of them were laid before 1PM.

Most of mine have finished laying by mid-morning, but I get the occasional straggler in the afternoon. Typically it is my Australorp who *just* started laying and hasn't quite figured it out yet

Mine all get done laying by 10 am. Which is great since I leave for work an hour later and can take eggs in to sell

by 9am I usually have 15 eggs and maybe by noon 1-3 straglers!

Ours start at about 6:30 am and lay at different times of the day up until 4:30 now with it getting dark so early.
