what time of day???

If they are laying at any time of the day, what do you do if your chicken free range all day?? I have 21 week olds(21 of them) and haven't found a single egg yet. I used to let them out at 7:30 but now I'm waiting until 10:00. Still no eggs. Do you think they are laying out in the woods or tall grass after I let them out???

I know some people keep theirs locked up until a certain time of day to make sure they lay their eggs in their nest boxes. I don't. My chickens free-range and I let them out as soon as I get up in the morning usually. I check on them frequently. I also know their free-ranging "route". They can be pretty far off from the coop and I'll see a hen come walking back to the coop, go inside and lay her egg. When she comes back out she hollers to locate the flock and re-joins them. If one disappears for awhile I go check on them, but I have never found one out of the coop laying an egg.
I suspect yours just aren't laying yet.

Mine free range all day too and they go back to the coop to lay in their nest and then back out again too. Maybe just not laying yet?

Some of mine lay as early as 7 AM and as late as 3 PM Crazy !
They go in and out of coop as they need to

Well since I added a light to the run to supplement 6 more hours of daylight - I had one lay at 8pm lol!!!!!
