Hi everyone. I have been wondering as us Aussies approach Autumn what time of year foxes are most active in their chicken hunting? I have a fox that lives two properties over and he is very active in chicken hunting last year.

For me, they always pop up most in fall but that may be just me...

Ohhhhh I see. Well where I am they pop up usually in spring through to summer during the day.
That is our spring through summer (April through August). Not sure how your seasons/months correlate. I usually see them most active from daybreak to about noon.

when they are feeding kits and the most desperate for food.
This^^^.....and also maybe when those youngsters begin to hunt for themselves. Season(s) will vary greatly depending on species of fox and geographical location.

where I am

It's easy to do, (laptop version shown), then it's always there!
