what time

mine race out the door too. its so funny, the rooster leads em out and then when the rhode island red hen decides to be lazy, he goes in and brings her out.. its so entertaining to watch.

Mine are usually out by 7am and back into their coops around 8:30pm. Sometimes on the weekends we sleep in and don't let them out until 9am. You should here the squaking when they have to wait!! I never imagined chickens could have so much attitude.

Mine come and go when they want. They come out usually about 6/6:30 a.m. then go back into the coop to do the egg thing. Then they're out in the run til I get home from work then they go out in the yard for a few hours (depending on if they were being naughty - i.e. getting into my flower boxes) Then they tuck themselves into the coop about 8:30 at night. But they make grouchy noises if they're in the run locked up while I'm out gardening and they see me.

Ours knock you down when we open the coop door at 6:30am and refuse to return to the roost until dark which is around 8:30pm these days. We keep them in the coop/run all day and let them out at about 5pm to free roam.

We have to have feed out and ready when we open the door or else we hear all about it. They are so funny running out of the coop.

usually around 6 am. While the dogs are eating, I'll go out and let the chickens out of their crate, change the water, give them food. they'll stay out til about 8:30 or so (DH is the one who usually locks them up so I'm guessing) - they usually go in on their own, all DH has to do is shut the crate.
