What to charge for farm fresh eggs

I get $2.50 per doz for mine, no matter what size. Just recently upped it from $2. One customer has no problem (& would probably pay 3 or 4), but a co-worker said he was interested when I told him I had farm fresh eggs. He balked at $2.50 until I told him a little about store-bought eggs versus my backyard raised, free-ranging happy chickens...I think I may have changed his mind; we'll see!

i charge 3 but it all depends on what people are wsilling to pay

$2.00 at present, but price goes up to $2.50 in May when Farmer's Markets start.

$2.00 a dozen, which doesen't pay for feed a month, but thats okay I love my chickens and we eat alot of eggs..

We get $2/Dozen. That's all people in our area will pay. (and some still complain lol) I tell them that feed is expensive and I'm certainly not making any money. I have a couple of people who I give the eggs to them for free and they will bring me a couple bags of food each month (I think that is a better deal).
