What to do about a barn owl

Keep The Birds Locked In @ Night?
Is That Possible For You? I Don't Know Your Set Up.
i would keep them lcoked up but these chcikens have been my yard birds for years. there a mixed up batch of chickens that have gotten loose and they roost where they want. i have pens for my other birds but its so darn fun to watch these hens parade there chciks around i have 3 hens setting on batchs of eggs all around the farm i have even seen some around the woods.

Thank you for the info on owls. DH saw a big owl pass through our yard a couple of weeks ago, and in the last couple of days we've lost NINE chickens. While looking for the missing ones this morning he scared up an owl in the woods. A few days ago our neighbor saw an owl fly out of her barn with one of her chickens. We found feathers from four of our girls, and no sign of the other five. I'm hopeful that they're hiding in the woods, but I'm not banking on it.
