Morning

I have had this groups of chickens for going on 3 years all are the same age. I have 11 hens no roosters. I know about the pecking order but about 2 weeks ago. For some reason they started singling out one of the hens. To the point I can not put her in with the others. I think they will kill her and with winter coming I can't leave her by herself. I'm checking with others people who have chicken to see if they we take her but I don't know if there chickens will do the same where she's would be new to their flock.
Can someone help me find an answer
Thanks

She seems to be. The only place I can see she has any injuries is where they are packing her on the back of her neck

Where do you have her separated?
Can you add one of the other birds in with her until you find one that won't beat her?

Adding a single bird to a flock is hard, best give them 2, if that's the route you go.

This might help:

You have an established flock of three years and this behavior just showed up? I think there is something wrong with the hen that you are not aware of, and she is near the end of her life. Flocks can sense that, and will try and drive that bird off.

It is not unusual for a bird to die around this age, is another reason that I think she may be sick or declining. I would not keep her, but I know for many of you, that is a hard decision. I would not send her to another flock. Just keep her separate, I think it is a matter of time.
