A broody hen stole a clutch of eggs from another broody. They've fought over the eggs for days. Tonight the first chick hatched. The hen is very protective and has kicked the other hens and roosters out of the coop. (We didn't know to separate her from the group sooner.) The question is what to do now. Leave her, the chick, remaining eggs in coop and relocate the others, or leave all the flock together, or move broody hen, nest, chick. Not sure how long she can fight other hens off. Don't want chick in the crossfire. Advice please.
