I mean, look at the link you provided us.. can you seriously hold any credence to it? I hope the answer is no. The issue at hand may be true, I just hope you don't get your news from the source you linked us... and, sadly, I feel you probably do. As I said previously it seems a bit whack, I wouldn't be surprised if this is an error... but I also said I didn't know, so maybe you are right. About not finding it on the DHS website.. I am almost certain they have to post that info.. your inability to find it does not mean it isn't there. Again, with this past comment, I am certain you are taking the sensationalist route. But I don't blame you, it's the easiest route to take.

I had to go look and see what the site was. I first heard it on a local station and then searched it and that was the one that came up. Is this one better ?

I should have said you probably wont find it on the DHS site I didn't look except on there news release part.
That site was just the only thing I had in writing so I posted it. Even dumb sites get it right sometimes I wouldn't of used a link that was just opinion, they were quoting the head of the union.

No, you are right, hemit dennis, I actually found that FOX article when you posted your first link. Like I said, it might be a legit thing and if it is that is definitely strange and wrong. But your first link was just a little crazy.. most forums have a political influence and the one you posted was a little extreme. The FOX article is good, I like to make fun of FOX, but I am not disputing it in this case.

If this plan is going as intended then I definitely agree with you, this is wrong and insulting.

I know the main point of your comment is correct and it is why I said I have my reservations. If what you said is upheld or confirmed in any way... I will shake my head in shame. This probably is not an issue in TX as most are carrying and you could count on someone else to save you and your job.

Seeing as I live here , and was born here, in Texas all I have to say is no kidding! Just about everybody I know owns a high capacity rifle and knows how to use them. Then there is all the handguns! But getting back on topic I think the reason for the rules is that the cartel has acquired some .50 M-2 heavy machine guns. When Ma Deuce talks, everybody pays attention!
