It's definitely not cocci if there is discharge from the eyes... not sure which type it is, but respiratory/sinus infection or disease is most probable... if it's contagiius, then yes, she will be a carrier for life and can pass it on to the others... the hen with her may be immune or just has a higher/better immune system for fighting it off... doesn't mean she isn't a carrier as well...
it was very unexpected at the time as she was not well but I thought she would get much worse before that happened. I did not take it very well but yeah, its alright, just thought I should let you all know.
