What to do with a 7 week old RIR

I just don't know what to do. I had two 7 week old RIR chicks and lost one two days ago to a hawk. Now, I don't know if I should raise the remaining one by herself. She will be in close contact with me but I don't want her to be alone. I have been counselled to get one near her age, but to keep them guartined from eacgh other for a month (not partical). Or, whether I should get 2 new day old chicks from the same hatchery and raise them next to her hutch and introduce them all when the younger ones are about 2 months old. Please give me your input as I am driving myself completely crazy.

Get two her age if possible, otherwise buy 3 chicks from the feed store.

Three or more birds is a comfy flock. If you only buy two chicks, you may find yourself in the same situation you are in now.
