What to do with a broody hen?

one of my hens (7 months old) will not get off the nesting box. she has been there for days. has no feathers left on her chest. I am told this is "broody" behavior. is there anything i can do to help her get over this? she doesn't look healthy. I have no rooster so there are no fertile eggs. Any advise is welcome.
