What to do with a dwarf chick?

My last chicks...i put in a cage in the coop when they were 3wks old. I kept them in a cage for about 3wks. In the mornings I would let them out a bit supervised while I distracted the older birds with food/treats while I did chores. I think I did thst for another couple weeks until I was satisfied the youngsters could manage. A single chick is harder..would be better to keep her buddy with her and try to integrate them together.

I think she would do best as a "house chicken." My friend has had various breeds (mostly bantams) as house chickens for more than 25 years. Currently she has 2 matronly seramas, who kick the dog out of his bed, steal his toys and grab food out of his mouth.
He is a wonderful sport. She also has a mature silkie hen that is afraid of the seramas.

We got a dwarf chick this year. She is about the size of a three week old chick. Everyone else grew up to normal size. Not sure what to do with her. Mom is an Americana dad is a Silkie. She can’t stay in the hen house. I suppose we will have to keep her in the house.
