What to do with a hen sitting on dud eggs?

I have a buff Brahma Who is 1 and sitting on dud eggs. Any ideas on how to handle this? ? I do have a roo, but he is a bantam. She has been sitting about 2 weeks.

We do have roosters but sell fertilized eggs and or a day old chick to people who have broody chickens and no roosters. Be sure to take away the eggs that are duds. It might become a stinky mess. The eggs and chick do not have to be the same breed.

A bantam can mate and produce chicks with a full size hen. It happened to me. Are you sure the eggs are a dud? Did you candle them?

Indeed! Try candling the eggs.

I haven't candled them yet. They are a tan, lilac color. Will they still show?

Try it. Use a good light LED. You might be surprised.
