What to do with a roo?

I read a sad post written by a guy who put a collar on his rooster and it wasn't long before he found it choking and removed it .He blamed the rooster saying it ate too much too fast and said he changed the food that caused it to get choked. He said his rooster doesn't like the food he gives it now and it won't stop crowing unless it it sees him (since he saved its life) He was wanted to know what else he could do to stop this rooster from crowing since it can't wear its collar yet.It crows more than it ever crowed before.It never stops until it sees him.This guy said his roosters afraid of being alone after it almost died and seems to think its crows only when its alone because it wants him.

I’m much more calm today, and they went in to their new home happily. Here’s an image I took of them mingling in their new run.
The lady who took them both said I’m welcome to visit any time to see my boys, and that’s a relief.

Not pictured is the rest of the big run, and an even bigger yard to run around in. I’m very happy that they’re happy.
