what to do with a strange rooster

a rooster just went over my yard. quite featherless on the head and no tail feathers. my chickens do not like him, specially the rooster. fast runner too. one day he got cornered and pecked nearly to death by my own rooster. i got him out from my rooster and checked him for damages. he had a hole in his neck, crop came out (with a hole), damaged wing. i sew the crop hole shot, pushed it in and sew the hole in the neck. cleaned the wound with betadine. put him in a coop and fed him. he recovered except the wing part. he keeps scratching his head. i can't keep him but what do i do with his nearly constant scratching. vet check up is out of the question - no money for that. giving him away means the cooking pot for him but cannot keep him cooped. my chickens are free ranging. i think the more important thing is his scratching. any herbal med or spray?

we use de, and the purple spray. No itching after it all goes away.

But you are exceptionally sweet or just plain very kind to fix him up. That was wonderful of you.
