What to do with all these peaches!?

When I was a kid, we had 2 peach trees like yours. I couldn't tell you how many times my dad had to fix the branches from so many peaches!

My mom made peach jam, butter, puree, canned htem, froze them, grilled, baked, dried, and I'm sure the list goes on. She made a syyrup that she used as a glaze for chops baked and grilled, mmm. Peaches! I have benn hounding dh to get me a couple of them so I can have them all year! You are so lucky! Share the love. We gave extras to freinds, family, and co-workers. Set up a road side stand and sell them or drop some off at you local food banks. They will love you for it.

If you have a still...I mean, if you happened to find a still just laying around and didn't want it to go to waste, yanno...you can always crush the peaches, including the skin, add some vodka (about 50% by volume, e.g. 1 quart mashed peach + 1 quart vodka), wait a month, and then distill the lot. Makes a lovely schnapps.
