What to do with curled toes???

I used the band-aid thing with one bantam houdan I hatched last spring...

And it worked perfectly...but you have to act fast or it won't work.

He's the brown one:

I've got the other two all taped up now. I did that when I gave them the vitamins. I just wanted to tell everyone thanks for your help and recommendations.

My temp is a steady 100*. I have a hova 1588. The temp and humidity are steady as a rock.

well then i have no idea, even if it doesnt correct the bird will adapt, i have a button with the issue, he does fine but i dont breed him cause you never want to run the risk of passing it down generations.

One has curled toes, two are splayed leg. The eggs were sitting upright in the turner rack. I have the floor of the bator covered with rubber matting and the brooder is covered with a puppy pad, cotton side up. One of the splayed leg chicks is up and hopping around with the band aid get-up. The other chick, well, it was actually getting worse so I took the band aid off and he drew his legs up and seems to be getting around good now. Maybe he just needed to get his footing about him. The others that have hatched so far are doing great.

I'd say the rubber mat did the spayed leg. About the curled toes it could have been a humidity issue you didn't notice or shipping. How many chicks do you have?

The rubber mat will actually help prevent played legs. I used it for my parrots right after they hatched. Vet recommended it. They can get better traction to keep their legs under them. So far I have 10 hatched out of the 29 that made it to lockdown. Today is only day 16 though. I would have had 12 BUT DH decided to get sick so I had to take him to the dr. While we were gone one drowned even with the pebbles in the water. I took the fount out and replaced it with a pickle jar lid (with pebbles) lol. One pipped last night but never hatched and died

. The humidity is running right at 60% and the temp is 100*.
