what to do with eggs after treating with wazine

On the bottom of the bottle on the back it states not to medicate within 14 days of slaughter for turkeys and chickens. That means that the wazine (a poison to paralyze roundworms) is safely out of the chickens system and is safe to eat after the 14th day. We use that as a guideline for eating the eggs. Keep in mind if you eat the eggs or chicken within the 14 day withdrawal period, you risk injesting wazine, however so slight the poison, and possibly having a reaction. It's up to you if you want to eat the eggs or chicken...personally, I toss the eggs in the garbage and wait 14 days. If you feed the eggs back to your chickens you are extending the withdrawal time by redosing them, no matter how small it is.

that is what I thought, everyone says feed them back, but then you are giving them more meds in the eggs and should therefor extend withdrawl. Now is it safe how ever to feed to dogs and cats?

It shouldnt have any effects on dogs or cats...wazine isnt used to worm them, they have their own wormers for different types of roundworms.
