what to do with eggs while withholding?

I am treating my chickens for Coccidio and am not to eat the eggs.

Can I give them back to the chickens cooked?
or
Do I just need to compost them?

What are you using to treat them for coccidiosis? Corid and Coxoid (amprollium) has no egg withdrawal time. If you are using sulfa antibiotics, then yes those have an egg withdrawal time.

I am in New Zealand and cannot get Corid. Baycox C is the treatment available from the Vet which contains Toltrazuril 2.5% and is administered over 2 days in water - 10 day withholding period.

I would throw them away for 10 days. Feeding them back just puts the medication back into the birds, composting puts it into your compost pile.

100% agree on pitching them. Toltrazuril is not nice to other things in the environment and if you’re using your compost on your garden, it can be detrimental to some plants as well. Check the product label for disposal of the drug - that will give you an idea of what to do with eggs with residue.

Unfortunately the vet didn't sell me the bottle/container they only sold me a dose for the number of chickens and "guess-timate" on weight. So I have no label

I was going to be on the safe side and not eat the eggs for 2 weeks (14 days) - BUT - after your post I may withhold for longer. I don't eat eggs every day so it's not a major to not have eggs.
