What to do with excess goat milk...

After about 6 days in the fridge, Goat Milk becomes a tiny bit "goaty" tasting. So, this week I tried my hand at soap making!!

I made three batches of soap, and this is what I got...

These small candy molds came in handy for the little bits of soap from each batch that wouldn't fill a whole bar mold.

I only had one problem. The embossing stamps I bought, had one where the design was not in reverse.

Of course, I didn't notice it until I unmolded the soap!!

I contacted the company that makes the stamps, and they are sending me a replacement. They were very quick to reply. I was impressed!!

I am working now on a label for my soaps, Here is one idea.

Thats really cool! You could also try adding oatmeal to your soap. I heard it was really good for your body. (I have soap with oatmeal in it) I have a goat, but she doesnt produce milk. Let me know if you try the oatmeal!
