I bought 15 straight run Golden Buff chicks from Meyer's. They are doing fine. The odds say I have ~7 roosters in the mix. Since I already have a rooster, what can I do with the new ones? What age would I need to sell them so they would be good meat birds? Also, how many hens can one rooster, "service"? I have 4 hens now, + 6 hen chicks of different kinds and the ~7 Golden Buffs. Would I need to keep one of the roosters for myself or would the one I have suffice?
