I agree. My Houdini's were originally getting on top of the gate to their pen. There was a little space between the gate and the netting, I have netting covering the pens. I put some wire on top of the gate but they found another way. There was a small gap between the gate and the post the gate latched to. It was small but they managed to get through so I put some wire on the gate post to close the gap. They actually dug a spot under the fence. The electric wire didn't seem to phase them so I staked the wire down into the ground. They still managed to find ways out which I never discovered.Just like a hidden nest, it will be in the last place you look for it.
A game cam is probably the only way for her to show you where she is escaping.
