What makes you think your hen is sick ?

I just keep them inside for a day or two just in case.

I don't think she would be flying up toward the netting to escape. It seems more probable to me that there may be a spot in your fencing that could be loose on the bottom and she's just pushing thru and going out

Everything has been sealed up to prevent that.
And yeah, she can't fly out anywhere. I've watched her many times to see her smack into the netting.

We have the camera but we haven't had enough time to set it up as my dad is the only one who knows how to but he's always tired everyday.

My parents are magicians and have friends who always had a chicken in their act. They kept their chicken in the house. If no one is aware, what's the difference? I also clip my chickens wings, they free range in my enclosed garden, escaped once, never again. Just consider clipping for her safety.

Hmm my guess is somewhere the netting isn't secured tightly enough (maybe spacing is wider between some points than others?) and so she can fly up and pop through it, or that there's some wire loose or broken towards the bottom that's not obvious, that she can push through.

A camera is going to be the best way to get to the bottom of this so I hope you dad can get it set up soon!

I already double checked last night while I was out in the rain.

Sometimes, you just have to start over. I’ve had to take my fencing and chicken wire down and start putting it up again. Putting it together and making sure everything is tight as I went. It is some work but worth it to keep your babies safe.
