I've always ended up moving my broodies with chicks into a more secluded spot as well. Generally, after a week or two, I start letting them free range with the rest of the flock. The broodies are always super protective and don't let the others get too close. After a few weeks of the broodies returning to their secluded spot on their own at night, they generally choose to head to the main coop with the others. Once they do that, I let them stay with the rest of the flock.
