What to do with pallets

heres what i do with some of mine, made from scrap wood and recycled wire for door and windows.
2 people can pick it up but i use my tractor and set these up on blocks to keep the wood from rotting .

Most pallets rot pretty fast,so it is best to paint them if they are used outside.
 
Just make sure you check the codes on the pallets... I would only use them if they say something like HT. Those ones are heat treated vs chemically treated for insects.
 
I use them as the bottom of my wood pile to keep the wood off the ground and allow air flow. I need some more because they only last few years at best.......

We are pine pallet artisians,working solely in the medium of pine pallets.
 
Norm Abram of "This Old House" once made a piece of furniture (coffee table, I think) using pallets. He did this on his woodworking show a long time ago. It turned out to be a beautiful piece of furniture.
