Hi!
We got some new chicks to add to our flock and it's looking like 4 of them are Roosters. I am wondering what people do with their roosters? We can only keep one and it seems nobody wants to take a rooster. I really dont like the idea of the, being killed just because they are roosters!

whenever i have too many roos they turn into chicken pot pies. you could sell them, eat them, show them, or you could keep one and do something with the others. ours don't end up in the fridge just because they are boy's though, we mainly do it because whenever there are too many they hurt each other, hurt the hens, and they try to attack us sometimes.

You can keep a bachelor flock, but I'm not sure if that will work for you.
What breeds are they?
People are more likely to take a purebred roo off your hands for breeding.
The best thing to do is before taking on more birds arranging for homes for the amount that could be boys.
I am in similar position- have 3 cockerels and want to keep them - seperate from hens. Would it matter that one of them is a salmon faverolle and the other two peking bantams? Would the big one pick on the little two or little two pick on the big one? 👀
