What to do with spilled feed?

I exchanged a 4H green feeder with the little multi-seperators for a red Little Giant that had a lip on the inside of the bottom pan and one of those little multi-separators also so they couldn't flick the food all over the ground....worked like a champ...also I only give them a bit more than they will clean up in a day, and dump the powder that collects in the bottom tray at the end of the week. Mine weren't flicking it side to side as much as scooping it towards themselves and over the edge and out on the ground, the little bit of a lip stopped the problem, no more food on the ground.
Could you take a picture of that feeder? Thanks

My question answered!!! I think I am going to get a giant plant pot tray.
Those are hard to find for some reason. I found 1 at a flea market and made my feeder. I havn't been able to fine another. Ive found small ones everywhere, but big enough for a five gallon bucket is hard to find. Gonna try to fix up some separators like karlamaria's picture. I can see how that would work.

i feed mine in their coop and when they make a mess on the floor i clean it up and dump it on the ground in their run and they eat it like they have never ate anything before..

Here ya go mo.....hope this helps....its an 11lb little giant brand feeder and 3 gal little giant waterer....easy to clean and use so far so good....you can get a top cone for feeder and extra gaskets for waterer...i got both but dog chain i'm hanging with doesn't fit the cone...untill i need it been to lazy to modify it :)
