What to do?

Wow, thanks SO much! I wouldn't have thought of that! Trying that now. @Magnolia Ducks, yes, we can see the bill! And yes, it is making chewing motions. We are starting to have hope that maybe it will live! It is moving more, and it seems like it's trying to come out a little, but is still very stuck to the egg. How much longer do you think it will take.

Here is a picture:
Sorry for the bad quality--trying to take it with my computer :/

You could apply a lubricant around the shell, just to keep him moist, but if the duckling is still yawing I would leave him be, he should be able to get out of the egg by himself. It may take another 24 hours.

Aaahh new update! It is coming out! We have been applying coconut oil around the membrane but it seems very stuck. It's trying hard though! Its eyes are now out and a wing! I am just hoping that the yolk is absorbed. We will leave him alone and let him do it himself, but is there anything we should do/are doing wrong? We've hatched ducklings but haven't happened upon this situation so we need help!!!

Do you see any veins, and is the duckling making clicking sound or yawning still? Most of the time, when they are struggling to get out of the shell they have already fully absorbed the yolk. Just leave him be.

I see no veins. No clicking sound, but it is yawning. Okay, we will. Checking in once in a while to dab with coconut oil, but otherwise we're leaving it be. aah I can't wait! I really hope it survives!

**UPDATE
Lulu hatched out of her egg a few hours ago! She is happy and healthy, and is peeping a lot! One issue, her foot looks a little deformed; we will be keeping an eye on it, hopefully, it will go back to normal.
