So I'm thinking of getting some day old goslings, and would like to know what to feed it. Should i get medicated, or non medicated?
Fermented?
Is feeding any other poultry feed or rabbit feed bad for them?
What are some good brands? Or, should I just make a homemade feed? I have the time and the budget for it.

Chick feed is fine for them, unmedicated is what I would use. You will also need to add niacin to their feed if you use chick feed since it doesn't contain enough niacin to meet their needs. You can purchase this in the form of Brewer's Yeast and add it directly to their feed.

Or, if you can find a feed labeled as All Flock, you can use that.

They also greatly benefit from access to fresh grass so if you can get them out to graze that would be good for them. In it's too cold for that, fresh grass clippings will be fine.

Here is some good info for first time gosling owners.

I am getting some roman geese, three, week old chicks, as pets I will take all precautions as specified by others including a swimming pool. What do Chicks eat in the natural environment with their mother , everything the mother eats. After they are grown up , I have a secure fenced in half a acre of grass , plus a quarter acre of garden planted with Pumpkin , cabbage, and Grapes ( for the geese to eat in the fall). For the Winter I will get a 800 pound bale of Timothy grass and barley and supplement with greens peas, potatoes , and some grain

My healthiest and best champion dog was fed mostly on mink food ( minced meat and organ meats.). I need an honest reply, I am looking for a simple easy way without regimentation and the least amount of work,Is that possible? . I see the Amish next door raise a Flock of pet Geese with no sweat. They live all year round under the floor of their porch where they put straw bales as protection, but the area is lockable at night, as I have a lockable covered area for them. An easy simple way to raise these things as pets

I use flockraiser for the first couple of weeks, then switch to mazuri maintenance.
I also make sure fresh grass or romaine is major part of diet from get go.
