What to feed mommy with babies??

Do you keep feeding the mother and chicks layer or do you feed them all chick starter? The chicks are a week or two or three weeks old and they are bantams. Thanks for helping.

I just let her eat chick starter right along with the babies.

I always feed mine chick starter. Both the mama and the chicks eat the same feed.

It's alright for the mother to eat the chick food but it's not good for the babies to eat the layer feed. It has too much calcium in it for the little ones.
