what to feed my rooster

I see no reason this would not be a perfectly acceptable feed program.

I could not find a percent protein for that product, but it appears to be a “Grower” feed, probably with a protein level around 16%. It will basically be the same as Layer except it will not have the excess calcium.

It should work in your situation.

Offer oyster shells on the side, not mixed with the feed. The hens that need it for their egg shells should eat as much as they need. The others, the hens that are not laying and the rooster, may take a bite or two but they will not eat enough to harm themselves.

OGM could you find a label in that advertisement showing analysis? I failed.

That price converts to about $15 for a 44 pound bag before shipping. That’s not too bad for around here.

Did some digging, but no info and exactly Farmgate growers / Rearers Pellets.
'Rearers' is 15%

Protein wise its a bit low....but the brand as a whole is low (may be a locality thing.....not famimiar with feed standards over there)...their staryer is 18, rearer 15 and layer 1.....which was echoed by other uk brands i found. Cosyhens.co.uk is where i found protein quoted.
