What to fill my duck run with? And progress pics

It would make a great chicken coop. The building would be happier too......Serving a useful purpose.....

I don't think the building would be happier covered in chicken poo everywhere. . .at least the calls don't roost all over and poo everywhere. . . poo stays on the floor.
The house has to hold all my pet supplies and feed and bedding. . so no chicken poo please

One of these cold winter days, I will have to load up my poor old vehicle with a few beautiful clean luvable sweet chickens and head south to the land of lack of reason and bring some reason to you........ You would love the fluffy chickens and their sweet quiet personalities.....








Edited to change there to their so little Miss Grammar Czar would not have a spitting hissy fit..

We fill our chicken run with new straw every few weeks, it eventually builds up and decomposes enough to were its really soft and bouncy

I fill my chicken runs with Dux feathers. They are comfy for the chickens and look better on the floor of the run than on a dux...

Turkey Feathers are way to valuable to use as bedding..BUT I bet given a week or two @holm25 will have a few dead ones you could use....he tends to kill off the great birds faster than most people...

I would save the leafs and move the dux out... Just sayin...

No saving the leafs! They can remain sad and hopeless like they have for the last 50 years...
I had a nightmare yesterday that they won the Stanley cup.
