What to get the chickens for Christmas???

Mine are getting a bigger run if I ever find the time to get out there and work on it, and my hubby ever finds the time to put the post hole digger on the tractor so I can get the holes dug....I'm getting too old to dig them by hand anymore!!

We got the top of a Christmas tree and we're going to put it up in thier run with treat ornaments (biscuts in shapes with little hooks on the top, covered with peanut butter and birdseed or scratch). We think an edible tree-gift will go down nicely.

Well, after reading y'all's posts...I went a little hog-wild today.

I bought a stocking for each one of my 15 chickens...and two geese. And coop decorations, lights, garland, wreath....oh my.

For all y'all who haven't seen my "chicken christmas pictures"

Anyhow, I'm thinking grapes for the chickens, and lettuce for geese...plus maybe a new pull-toy and some crickets? I'm not sure my girls would know what to do with a cricket!
