This is my darling girl, Ambrosia. She's an Easter egger, about a year and two months old, and was blinded when our flock was attacked last Tuesday. We had seven left over from an attack left July, where the predator only got one, but this time it got three. It has tried digging into our coop, but we luckily have a plastic floor for them in the coop. Her sister was taken, and she's very nervous now. The other hens have been looking after her, but they're not used to being as gentle as she needs. I started out giving her water with a syringe, then got a small sauce cup that I can easily dip her head into. She's still struggling with foods, so I've been syringing her foods like banana, oatmeal, and yogurt. I need a few other soft foods to be able to give her, and that I can leave with the boy who's going to be taking care of her while I'm away. He knows how to do it, I've been training him, but I need something to give him to give her. I was thinking some kind of smoothie with stuff that's good for her. I've attached two pictures, one of each side Any suggestions?
