what do you give them when there sick or when they get hurt
this year my dog got sick and i look in the natural cures for dogs
and found three different recipes for natural teas and found which one work best
i dont know of natural things i can give my turkey, if you know of natural things
or natural remedies i can give my turkey please let me know thanks have a great day
I don't give natural cures either. My turkeys are not sick. Steve would know alot more than me about sick turkeys. I think you should IM him. About the only natural thing I give them is Braggs Apple Cider Vinegar with Mother. http://bragg.com/products/bragg-organic-apple-cider-vinegar.html You buy it at health food stores. Its different than store bought vinegars. Its more to prevent illness than cure it. It suports the immune system.

my six moth tom hurt the five month old tom
which means its not sick it is injured
there is a great difference from an animal being injured and
a animal being sick, i explained the older tom injured the younger tom
anyone who has turkeys the more dominant toms can hurt the younger toms
i dont think there is someone here in the group that one tom has not injured another tom
it comon sense their animals and one always wants to be more dominant turkey from the whole flock
and you got to know that turkeys fight with each other because you have
many turkeys

Thank you for clarifying that, turkeybreeder. Well, since it is a sparring injury and old fashioned seems the preferred approach. Might I suggest our favorite Spar suppression/antibiotic for sparring injuries. just wear gloves when you apply and don't put any directly above the eyes (high body temp. will melt the stuff and it will run into eyes):
Also useful for chastising politicians (tar/feathers/rail)...
As I mentioned in my previous post the swelling might have been the result of a torn vein under the skin
