Our family has lots of fun naming our chickens. We keep changing the names- they don't seem to mind. Here are some of our names:
Juliet- a leghorn that always jumps up on my shoulder and stares at me (thinks I'm Romeo).
Oprah- a black sex-link, at the top of the pecking order, that always has something to say.
Charles Chickens- Barred Rock rooster, our son had to read Charles Dickens for English class. Somehow the rooster got names Charles Dickens, then Charles Chickens, then just Charles.
Olive- a shiny black sex-link, feathers look oily in the sunlight. At first she was called Oil, then Olive Oil, then just Olive.
