What to Plant in Field for Chickens

I think some of the things that are listed as being toxic on those types of lists came from incidents where they gave an entire truckload or truckloads of that food to animals in a feed lot. I'm pretty sure that's how broccoli got on the list, because I remember reading about that case when I came across it by accident, doing some nutritional research.

I wish those web sites would put a notation on those pages, because they cause a lot of confusion for normal people. People that are giving a balanced diet and good care to their animals.

After some reading, and these posts, I am leaning toward either:

Dutch or New Zealand White clover by itself or
a mix of white clover with a little grass in it...

This has been a most interesting post for me. I hope others find it so.
