What to put under the roosts..?

Hi! So, to make a long story short, I put down contact paper under my roosts to make the..err..cleaning easier. It has worked like a dream, but after only two months, it has started to wear out with all the scraping and scrubbing I constantly do. Needless to say, I'm really looking into alternatives.

Now, to the question! What do you all put under you roosts to make the daily cleaning easier? Linoleum looks like a good option, but I am trying to collect all the options that I can!

Rubber or linoleum. What about spraying it with Pam cocking spray?

I know it works real good on rubber. We use it on the truck tires to keep the red clay from sticking.

I did a dropping board with leftover linoleum tiles and it works great!

A quick scrape into a bucket and I'm done in 30 seconds.

I searched on the internet and found replacement trays for dog kennels and put them under. I was going to use rabbit dropping trays but they were more expensive. They are 23" x 36" and about an inch and a half deep with a smooth bottom. When the chickens are out of the coop just pull them out, dump in the garden or compost bin and spray off with the hose.

see I would make it with a ledge and put shavings...thats just me...so I dont have to scrub and clean that much. I did that with my coop...use to clean it daily, to get flies and poop out...now I have litter...and I fluff the shavings and thats it...every 2wks. I get a kitty litter shovel and take out the poop...but I have no flies or stink now.

I'm going to use a sheet of corrugated plastic. It's an old sign from my work.. You can find them on corners, advertising stuff, political signs etc...

My litter is one bag of 5.00 shavings....its been 3mos like this and see how clean, I rake it, and then about once a month I add shavings about the size of a foot ball 2 times...and rake it again...alot cleaner and no flies Then in 6mos...I replace the whole thing and all new litter. Here it looks very thick and deep...but its only like maybe 2" if even

This was the orginial floor and I use to cover it in HAY...and like I said it gets HOT AND BRITTLE....matted with poop so you cant scoop out the bad parts and flies....omg!!!!
