Gravity feeders, hung about the height of their chests, are goodI will changing to a metal trashcan for storage. BUT I’ve got to feed them in something different. The chick feeders are to small now.

Thank you. I will have to check those out!We store feed in gamma lid containers. Stables around here use these to store grains for horses, too. They keep out water and critters. I haven't yet seen one fail.

We use port feeders in the runs because the runs aren't secure against squirrels/mice/rats/wild birds, and we can plug the feeders at night so nothing can eat from them. That means we have to go out every morning and unplug them but we use an expensive feed so it's worth the extra effort to keep freeloaders from getting it.
