What to use to candle an egg

When I candle my eggs, I use a small, kid sized flashlight. Every single time I candle an egg, I can't see any detail besides the dark spot growing. What do you guys use?

Do you have a phone with a flashlight? If so, that combined with candling in a dark room should be enough. Phones normally have a very bright flashlight.

I'm using a very bright LED flashlight that came in a set of "headlamps" and flashlights from Walmart. Fits in the hand easily, lights the eggs perfectly!
