froggie, see the first layer on the wing of your chick has white, but the next two layers don't? That's the difference between your chick and the OPs. The OP chick has white in all three layers, which is why it isn't an australorp.
I was thinking SLW too Chris, but it doesn't really have the right markings. I guess they could look different overseas compared to here tho.
I just saw something on the first picture that chick has a little poof on the top of it head... It cold be a polish of some kind..
If she is across the big pond there standard for bird are not the same as ours....
Im still going Silver Laced Wyondotte on the black one...
