Cleaned out my garden today so they got squishy tomatoes and yellow squash. I have enough for several days.

They get almost all of the kitchen scraps daily but we had some leftover ribs so they got a special treat today. It was hilarious to watch them run around tossing the bones to get the scraps of meat off!

Made my bobwhite quail a sweet corn, oat, meal worm, sunflower and legume platter today.

One of my hens flushed a western Fence Lizard out of the Cukes, ran it down & caught it, defended her prize from all those that conspired to steal it & finally ate the dang thing.

Mine got a porridge of plain kefir and powdered layer/starter feed *I sift all the feeds* Is kefir even good for chickens, 'cause they love it.
