What treat did your chickies get today?

I had chickens before that would attack me if I went outside with mealworms or ANY kind of treat. My chickens now turn up their beaks at EVERYTHING. Mealworms, fresh veggies. I haven't found anything they like. I don't get it. They love to forage though.

I have one Buff Orp that loved mealworms as a chick, and then at about four months she decided she was scared of them, and now at 6 months she's in love with them again. Sigh.

Mine get big scoops every day. Even the ducks like it.
40# bags are usually fairly cheap at feed stores.

I only really give my birds some sunflower seeds before shows and what not, because if the eat too much it stops taking affect and won't make there feathers shine
"Too much of a good thing" Really applies here
Depending on how big "big scoops" are it might be fine, it is not like it will hurt them it is all just for looks
