What trip/vacation do you really want to take? Where would you go?

I was very fortunate to travel with the Army and then work in a few different places after I retired from the Army. Some of the places have already been mentioned.

I want to keep traveling and seeing more places but towards the top of my dream list is Great Britain and Ireland.

I just love to go back to Cancun also... been twice already.

I'd love to do upstate NY when the leaves are changing also.

I have always wanted to go to Ireland. Big problem being that I am scared to death to fly!

Other than that, I'd like to go out west, Montana area, etc.

Would love to take my dad to Alaska. It's somewhere he's always wanted to go and never been able to.

Also want to take the kids across to Niagra Falls, Canada, but that'll likely be happening soon, anyway.

A long, long, time ago....I was 4 and watching Captain Kangaroo and there was a picture of a thatched cottage and the song "English Country Garden" was playing. I looked at that and thought that is where I want to be. I finally made it a few years ago. I would love to return to Ireland and the UK, but I would also love to travel the world. I don't think I could pick just one place.
I have a friend that has traveled the world and visited well oveer a hundred countries. He is fascinating.

What great places everyone is talking about! Alaska is a dream of mine too, but not for a vacation, to live! I've had wonderful offers from Districts there but not at times I can take them up on it and not when I have the money to move! I'm jealous, I want to be in Salem!!!
My family is in Wales, I'd like to go there and Ireland/Scotland, just about anywhere in that area.

Alaska & Canada for 1 month of NON STOP SKIING... We have a 5 year plan to achieve this one...


I've pretty much been everywhere else here in the lower 48 and lived... (btw.. why on earth don't they call it the lower 49?) and so have no burning desire to visit anywhere here really...

Overseas..... Switzerland... more skiing and classic wind tunnels

I would love to see Alaska. My hubby used to live there and he makes it sound so pretty! Also I have never been to an island. My dream vacation would have to be a cruise to several different islands. We never had a honeymoon and I still have that little girl fantasy of what it should be like. (been married 3 times and not 1 honeymoon! What the heck am I doing wrong!) Also I would love to take my son to Disney World. He is a great kid and deserves it. The dreams are there, the money is not!
